Red Bull is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Sales and Finance Controller
The purpose of the role is to ensure administrative and financial stewardship of the business through engaging in cross functional decisions through the preparation, presentation and influence of valuable analytical insights, which will ultimately impact the profitability and cash flow of the organisation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL: - Designs and maintains BI systems and reporting setup to support Sales and Finance responsibilities. - Measures and reviews the cost/benefit ratio of proposed business, sales and commercial activities. - Takes leading role in P&L consolidation, review and estimations. - Designs systems and reporting setup. Keeps track of costs vs budget. - Measures and reviews the cost/benefit ratio of proposed activities. - Promotes efficiency in Controlling in order to minimize time spent for report generation and increases time for analysis, commenting and insights sharing. - Supports and challenges the budget owners during the planning process. Highlights risks and opportunities
MONTH/YEAR END CLOSING: - Controls costs, consolidates expenses vs their cost centres and keep track of the spending. - Keeps track of Financial and Trade Sales data. Contributes to forecasting accuracy. - Keeps track of incoming and planned financial sale orders and shipments. - Controls and tracks FX effect on the business through monthly sales and costs analysis. - Analyses and explains variance of actuals vs Business Plan data. - Consolidates Monthly Expense Report and submits to the system. - Addresses budget risks and opportunities (under/over spendings) with key budget owners - Manages order planning based on sales forecasts; Does stock monitoring and inventory control
REPORTING & ANALYSIS: - Prepares the monthly accrual reconciliation (vs plan/agreement) and commentary. - Calculates the customer, channel and SKU mix impact on the total P&L. - Calculates/reports the major commercial KPIs. - Works closely with the sales team to calculate trade spend / promotional ROI. - Challenges the ineffective investment of trade spend. - Prepares the customer profitability report together with sales team. - Performs ad hoc calculations, for example impact of price increase, topline growth proposals and investment proposals with their respective impact ok key P&L indicators
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ Years of experience in Sales or Finance controlling - IT literate, excellent MS Excel knowledge, AI analytical tools, proficient in PowerPoint
SKILLS - A structured and well-organized individual - Fast learner - Highly analytical, financially literate and commercially savvy - Ability to quickly identify and analyse risks & impacts and able to define alternatives - Ability to influence others and hold people responsible to set recommendations, guidelines or processes - Self-motivated, self-directed and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment - Good communication and presentation skills
