Requirements for the profession:

** To plan and budget the activities of the department. ** To ensure the high-quality and timely execution of tasks set before the department, to lead the department's personnel in performing these tasks and to control the progress of execution. ** To make decisions on issues within his competence, ** To give tasks to the contracting organization and to control their execution. ** To compile monthly, quarterly and annual statistical reports on electricity consumption and submit them to the port management for approval. ** To organize the correct technical operation and timely repair of power equipment and power systems. ** To ensure the correct and continuous operation of the port's diesel generators and gas economy, to ensure their proper functioning and periodic inspection. ** To ensure uninterrupted and accident-free operation, to implement labor protection and safety regulations, industrial sanitation and fire safety rules; to constantly monitor the operation of power plants, the use and protection of power equipment and networks, underground structures and communications, control, protection and automation systems, and timely repairs. ** To control the production of works related to the timely cleaning of electrical panels, electrical columns, and all electrical units in workshops, warehouses and storages on the port territory, and to check the insulation of wires and their protection. ** To organize periodic measurements of grounding contours and testing of dielectric means, to ensure the implementation of protective works for underground structures and communications, and to submit the port's electrical economy to the technical supervision authorities in a timely manner. ** To participate in the preparation of applications for the purchase of power equipment, materials and spare parts necessary for the operation of the port's electrical economy. ** To supervise the technical condition of the port's power objects. ** To control the work carried out by the managing organizations for the maintenance of the port's power economy, to check the quality of services, equipment and materials provided by contractors and suppliers. ** To control the execution of repairs and inspections of power equipment. ** To conduct labor protection and safety instructions for department employees with established periodicity. ** To ensure that department employees are familiar with and execute the director's orders related to their functional duties. ** If necessary, by order of the head, to be ready to perform work outside working hours, in emergency situations and in cases of production necessity.
