The Progress School is looking for a Chemistry Teacher to join our team of teachers. The workload is 12 hours per week.

Job Title: High School Chemistry Teacher Number of positions: 1 Location: Kutaisi, D. Archangel #20. Schedule: Part-time (12-hour workweek)

Functions and responsibilities: - Within the scope of his/her competence, carries out theoretical and practical training of students; - Maximizes care and focus on identifying talented students and their involvement in various projects; - Demonstrates maximum initiative in the learning process to constantly develop teaching standards; - Participates in the planning and execution of the educational process; - Leads the educational process and student work; - Provides qualified support to the educational process within the relevant subject program and implements the requirements of the school curriculum in accordance with the legislation in the field of general education; - Presents an annual work plan, a relevant subject curriculum/syllabus within a reasonable period before the approval of the school curriculum; - Works individually with students if necessary; - Participates in teacher professional development programs and other projects, both within and outside the school; - Observes the norms of academic integrity, pedagogical and collegial ethics; - Observes the school's internal regulations and requirements provided by other internal standards or acts; - Along with the development of the educational process, maximally takes care of his/her own professional development. - The school provides the teacher with the necessary teaching materials and methodological literature.

Requirements: - Experience in the academic field or working with students; - Knowledge of English at B1 level (desirable); - Experience in teaching in English; - Knowledge of modern methodologies and approaches at the teaching level will be considered an advantage; - Certified and scheme-included candidates will have priority.

Terms: - Hourly remuneration depends on the candidate's experience and status. - Additional selection stages will be conducted with selected candidates: - Interview and demonstration lesson.
