Epidemiologist

„Akademik Vakhutang Bochorizhvili's Clinic“ announces a job vacancy for an Epidemiologist at the clinic.

Main responsibilities: - Development, implementation, and monitoring of internal standards for infection prevention and control; - Development of safety measures, creation of a safe environment for treatment, and preparation of relevant protocols; - Regular control of personnel's compliance with sanitary-hygienic, disinfection, and sterilization norms; - Conducting epidemiological research and rapid response in case of suspected or confirmed infection spread; - Inclusion of infection control issues in the continuous training system for personnel; - Communication with regulatory and public health authorities in case of suspected or confirmed communicable diseases; - Ensuring the professional health of medical personnel; - Conducting seasonal flu vaccinations; - Control and supervision of medical personnel screening in the state program for managing hepatitis C; - Production of medical documentation in accordance with established rules;

Qualification requirements: - Higher medical education or sub-qualification in epidemiology; - Experience working in a similar position; - Knowledge of office programs; - Proficiency in English and Russian is desirable;

Personal skills: - Organizational skills; - High sense of responsibility; - Ability to work in stressful situations; - Communication skills; - Punctuality
