A competition is announced for the selection of interns in the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Law of Ivan Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

A competition is announced for the selection of interns for unpaid internship in the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Law of Ivan Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University - 10 (ten) vacancies.

The competition is open to individuals with higher education, undergraduate or graduate students.

The competition participant should preferably know: - a) State language (writing, reading, speaking); - b) English language (at least B2 level);

The applicant must have: - a) Office computer programs - Microsoft Word (at a high level, including: formatting footnotes and other technical details). - b) Microsoft Excel - c) Microsoft PowerPoint - d) Adobe Acrobat Reader (adding comments to text) - e) Internet.

When selecting an intern, attention will be paid to the following personal characteristics (skills): - a) Punctuality/discipline/organization; - b) Responsibility; - c) Attention to detail; - d) Ability to work in a stressful environment; - e) Completion of tasks within the established deadline; - f) Teamwork culture; - g) Technical and computer skills; - h) Critical thinking/analytical skills; - i) Communication skills (including foreign language communication skills); - j) Quick adaptation to changes.

The intern's functions and responsibilities: The intern's main functions will be determined by the oral/written instructions of the internship supervisor, including: - a) Cooperation with the structural units of the university and the faculty within the competence; - b) Participation in official communication as instructed by the supervisor (emails, correspondence, meetings, etc.) - c) Participation in the organization of events of the Faculty of Law (conferences, seminars, public lectures); - d) Support for organizational and technical processes related to events; - e) Preparation or processing of academic and administrative documentation with the help of the supervisor; - f) Preparation/translation/editing of international memoranda of the Faculty of Law as instructed by the supervisor; - g) Performance of other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

To participate in the competition, the internship candidate must submit the following documents: - a) Application for participation in the competition (Annex N2 and Annex N2.1 "On Personal Data Protection"); - b) CV; - c) Copy of the identity card of a Georgian citizen; - d) Document confirming education, issued in accordance with Georgian legislation, or a certificate of student status; - e) Document confirming foreign language proficiency (if necessary); - f) Certificate "On absence of convictions for crimes against sexual freedom and inviolability" (in case of occupying the intern position).

The deadline for submitting documents is from August 27, 2026, to September 2, 2026.

The selection of applicants will be carried out by the competition committee based on the review of the application package. In case of incomplete submission of documents, the applicant's documents will not be considered. Applicants whose documents meet the competition requirements will undergo an interview with the selection committee (specific date and time will be notified in advance). The results of the interview will be notified to the applicant personally.

The internship period is 6 (six) months, working hours are at least 30 hours a week, except weekends.
