Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

FiberCell is a production company located in the territory of Tbilisi Free Zone, specializing in the production of construction glass.

The company announces a vacancy for the position of Occupational Health and Safety Specialist.

Control and Audit: - Regular audit of workplaces, production workshops, and equipment for compliance with labor safety and industrial safety standards.

Conducting Trainings: - Organization, conduction, and recording of introductory, primary, repeated, and unscheduled safety technique trainings for employees and contractors.

Development of Documentation: - Compilation of internal regulatory acts, instructions, regulations, orders, and training programs in the field of labor safety.

Special Assessment of Working Conditions: - Organization and conduction of special assessment of working conditions, assessment of professional risks at workplaces, and implementation of measures to reduce them.

Investigation of Incidents: - Participation in the investigation of accidents that occurred during production, determination of their causes, preparation of acts, and development of measures to prevent similar situations.

Medical Examinations and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): - Organization of mandatory preliminary and periodic medical examinations, control of providing employees with high-quality special clothing and personal protective equipment.

Interaction with State Bodies: - Representation of the company's interests during labor inspection checks, as well as preparation of mandatory reports.

Requirements for the Candidate Education: - Higher professional education in the field of "Technospheric Safety" or higher technical/humanitarian education with a diploma of professional retraining in the field of labor safety.

Work Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in the field of labor safety and technical safety.

Professional Knowledge: - Complete knowledge of the Labor Code and legislative base in the field of labor safety, fire safety, and industrial safety. - Understanding of the rules for investigating and recording accidents. - Knowledge of the structure and rules of safe operation of production equipment, electrical installations, or construction sites (depending on the specifics). - Personal qualities and skills: principle, high sense of responsibility, developed communication skills (to convince employees and management), ability to work with large volumes of documentation, and maintain composure in stressful situations.

Salary during the probationary period: 2000 GEL (tax-free)
