The Caucasus Center of Medicine is looking for a new team member: Head of the Infection Control and Prevention Department.

Workplace: Tbilisi, Petre Kavtaradze #23 Schedule: 8 hours, 5 working days a week.

Position Purpose The main goal of the Head of the Infection Control and Prevention Department is to prevent, reduce, and control hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) in the hospital, ensure compliance with international standards, and create a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Qualification Requirements: - A higher medical education is required (epidemiologist or relevant certificate of retraining); - A valid state certificate in general hygiene or epidemiology is desirable - At least 3 years of experience in the field of infection control; - Knowledge of international standards

Key Functions and Responsibilities: - Planning, implementing, and monitoring the hospital's infection control program - Developing strategies for the prevention of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) - Ensuring compliance with international standards (JCI, WHO) - Epidemiological surveillance and data analysis - Planning and conducting staff training - Active participation in audits, rounds, and incident management
