(a)ip "Studio A-D-C" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Development Specialist for the sub-program "Providing services to children with severe and profound developmental disabilities in residential care".

Main responsibilities - The Development Specialist, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ensures: - Assessment of the beneficiary and development/implementation of an individual service plan; - Promotion of verbal/alternative communication development of beneficiaries; - Provision of relevant recommendations and support to the beneficiary and family members; - Development of necessary skills to increase the child's independence and support positive behavior; - Facilitation of the child's and family members' integration into society.

The Development Specialist is responsible for: - Assessment of the beneficiary and development/implementation of an individual service plan; - Development of the child's cognitive, social, communication, adaptive, and independent living skills; - Use of positive behavior support strategies and promotion of the child's functional independence; - Counseling and providing recommendations to parents and family members; - Assessment of the beneficiary's progress and production of relevant documentation; - Effective collaboration and information sharing with the multidisciplinary team; - Protection of professional ethics, confidentiality, and evidence-based practice.

Qualification requirements - Higher education (teacher, doctor, social worker, psychologist, occupational therapist). - At least two years of experience working with children with disabilities; - Experience working in a multidisciplinary team; - Experience in individual assessment, service planning, and implementation; - Experience in consulting and collaborating with parents/legal representatives; - Desirable experience in the field of behavior support, early development, or inclusive services.

Skills - Ability to assess child development and plan interventions; - Ability to compose and implement an individual service plan; - Effective verbal and written communication skills; - Ability to counsel and support parents; - Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team; - Ability to produce documentation and reports; - Ability to apply evidence-based approaches and positive behavior support principles; - Basic knowledge of computer programs (MS Office).

Working conditions - Work schedule: no more than 8 hours per month with each beneficiary; - Work location: home visits/office; - Remuneration: negotiable.
