Chief Accountant

The company GASA "Georgian Aviation Service Agency", which is engaged in outbound tourism, deals with the realization of air tickets and tourist packages and is an official trade agent in Georgia of such airlines as: Pegasus Airlines, Air Arabia, announces a vacancy for the position of Chief Accountant.

Main functions and responsibilities: - Management of the accounting process in accordance with the Georgian Tax Code and international accounting standards; - Ensuring and controlling the implementation of accounting operations, monitoring the timely and accurate recording of daily accounting operations; - Preparation of monthly and annual tax declarations in accordance with Georgian legislation and fulfillment of obligations to the state budget; - Accrual of pension agency obligations; declaration of pension transfers and identification of employees leaving the scheme; - Filling out statistical forms; - Interaction with partner banks and control over the production of banking operations; - Ensuring work on the online portal of the Revenue Service; - Cooperation with internal and external auditors and provision of necessary information; - Formation of managerial reports, preparation of the company's monthly, quarterly and annual accounting statements; - Monitoring of daily operations produced in accounting and billing programs; - Control of debtors and creditors; - Management of the accounting department's workflow; control over the quality and deadlines of work performed by subordinates.

Qualification requirements: - Higher education in the field of economics or finance; - At least 3 years of experience as a chief accountant; - High-level knowledge of the Tax Code; knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS); - Knowledge of accounting programs and MS Office programs; - English language skills at a communicative level.
