Hypermarket Operations Manager

Company "Modus" has been present on the Georgian market since the 90s and has already celebrated over 20 years of successful activity. "Modus" is a leading company in the wholesale and retail trade of construction and repair materials on the Georgian market. In modern standard showrooms, in addition to locally produced products, you can find products imported from various European countries. The Modus network offers a wide range of repair and construction materials, as well as multi-brand furniture showrooms, household and decorative items, bathroom fixtures and accessories, lighting, electrical products, and many other products from various categories.

The Modus hypermarket chain is announcing a vacancy for the position of Hypermarket Operations Manager in Tbilisi (address: R. Agladze 51, Kakheti Highway N65).

Functions and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily activities of the hypermarket and ensure smooth operation;
• Monitor compliance with operational standards, procedures, and internal policies;
• Identify operational problems and take timely measures to resolve them;
• Coordinate between departments to prevent disruptions and operational process violations;
• Regularly inspect the sales area, warehouse, service areas, and other operational spaces;
• Check service quality in accordance with the company's service standard;
• Review customer complaints and respond promptly.

Qualification Requirements:

• Higher education in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or Logistics;
• At least 2 years of work experience in operational management, retail trade, hypermarket, supermarket, or similar business management;
• Experience working in a managerial position;
• Experience working with 1C software;
• Experience in managing a large team and controlling managers' activities;
• Experience in planning, organizing, and controlling operational processes;
• Knowledge of basic processes in retail trade/hypermarket;
• General knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and product movement processes;
• Knowledge of KPIs, performance indicators, and managerial reporting;
• Experience in controlling employee discipline and work process.

• Ability to quickly identify and solve problems.
