Cluster Chief Accountant

ibis Styles Batumi is looking for a new team member for the position of Cluster Chief Accountant, who will be responsible for managing and controlling the accounting, financial operations, tax compliance and activities of the accounting team of the companies within the group.

The position involves working with several business units and requires both in-depth knowledge of accounting processes and high responsibility and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities - Managing and controlling the full accounting of companies within the group; - Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance of accounting postings; - Timely closing of monthly, quarterly and annual financial periods; - Control of receivables and payables and reconciliation of accounts; - Control of banking operations, cash desk, POS/terminal and cash flows; - Control of the correspondence of data reflected in the hotel's PMS and accounting program; - Control and analysis of revenues and expenses; - Participation in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts; - Control of preparation and submission of tax declarations; - Work with RS.ge portal and monitoring of tax liabilities; - Control of payroll accounting and relevant accruals; - Control of inventory and fixed assets accounting; - Ensuring the effective functioning of internal control mechanisms; - Cooperation with internal and external auditors; - Ensuring proper production and storage of financial documentation; - Supervision of the accounting team's activities, redistribution of tasks and control of work quality; - Preparation of financial information and reports necessary for management.

Qualification Requirements - Higher education in finance, accounting, economics or a related field; - Experience working as a Chief Accountant; - Good knowledge of Georgian tax legislation and accounting principles; - Experience working with RS.ge and accounting programs; - Practical experience in financial reporting and account reconciliation; - Good knowledge of Excel; - Experience working with several legal entities at the same time; - Ability to manage a team and organize work processes; - High accuracy, responsibility and confidentiality.
