Crew Manager

Helios Shipping is announcing a vacancy for the position of Crew Manager.

Responsibilities - Manage the entire recruitment and crew selection process for the vessels assigned to you. - Search, evaluate and select qualified seafarers according to client requirements. - Plan and coordinate crew changes and vessel rotations. - Verify the validity of certificates, licenses, medical certificates, visas and other necessary documents. - Ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of crew data in the crewing database. - Collaborate with shipowners, ship managers, captains, agents and seafarers on crew-related matters. - Coordinate labor contracts, travel arrangements, visa arrangements and Joining Instructions. - Ensure compliance with MLC 2006, STCW, flag state requirements and company procedures. - Supervise and support Crew Operators, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks. - Prepare operational reports and monitor crew planning schedules. - Ensure high quality of service and promptly resolve current operational problems.

Qualification Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. - At least 1 year of experience in a Crew Manager or similar crewing position. - Good knowledge of MLC 2006, STCW and international maritime regulations. - English language proficiency at B2 level (written and spoken). - Knowledge of Microsoft Office and crewing management software. - Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under high workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - High level of responsibility, attention to detail and confidentiality.
