LLC "Batumi Sea Port" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Fire Safety Engineer (Instructor)

Qualification requirements: - Higher or medium professional education in fire safety. - Alternative: Any higher/medium professional education plus professional retraining in fire safety (diploma of professional retraining in fire safety).

Work experience: - At least 1 year of experience in the fire safety service, with the rank of officer. Practical fire extinguishing skills.

According to the job description/internal document, the main functions and responsibilities: and know: - Legislative and normative legal acts, methodological materials on fire safety issues; - Organization of fire safety work; - System of fire safety standards; - Rules and means of controlling the technical condition of devices for compliance with fire safety requirements; - Technological process hazards, fire safety equipment, and actions in case of fire. - Development of normative documents (instructions, fire safety orders). - Monitoring the protection of fire safety regulations at the facility. - Working with documentation (instruction logs, acts of knowledge assessment).

Must be able to: - Develop schedules for planned inspections of port facilities on the subject of compliance with fire safety rules. - Organize the implementation of fire safety norms, rules, and instructions and take effective measures to eliminate the causes and conditions for fire occurrence. - Monitor the condition of primary fire extinguishing means and fire water supply. Organize the inspection and charging of fire extinguishers within the established deadlines. - Conduct fire safety briefings and trainings, develop training programs for testing fire safety knowledge. - Conduct briefings, drills, and practical exercises, and conduct training on evacuation and fire extinguishing.

Personal qualities: - Responsibility, conscientiousness, attentiveness, organizational skills. Communicative, decision-making in critical situations.
