Chief Power Engineer of the Maritime Port

LLC "Batumi Maritime Port" announces a vacancy for the position of Chief Power Engineer of Batumi Maritime Port.

Requirements for the position: - Plan and budget the activities of the department. - Ensure the high-quality and timely execution of tasks set before the department, lead the department's personnel in performing these tasks, and control the progress of execution. - Make decisions on issues within his competence, - Give tasks to the contracting organization and control their execution. - Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports on electricity consumption and submit them to the port management for approval. - Organize the correct technical operation and timely repair of power equipment and energy systems. - Ensure the correct and continuous operation of the port's diesel generators and gas economy, proper functioning, and periodic inspection. - To ensure continuous and accident-free work, implement labor protection and safety regulations, production sanitation, and fire safety rules; control, protection, and automation systems related to the operation of power plants, power equipment, and networks, and protection of underground structures and communications, timely repair. - Control the production of work related to the timely cleaning of electrical panels, electrical columns, and all electrical units in the port area, workshops, warehouses, and storages, and checking the insulation of wire protection. - Organize periodic measurements of grounding contours and testing of dielectric means, ensure the conduct of protective work for underground structures and communications, and submit the port's electrical economy to the technical supervision authorities in a timely manner. - Participate in compiling applications for the purchase of power equipment, materials, and spare parts necessary for the operation of the port's electrical economy. - Supervise the technical condition of the port's power objects. - Control the work carried out by the managing organizations for the maintenance of the port's power economy, check the quality of services, equipment, and materials provided by managers and suppliers. - Control the execution of repairs and inspections of power equipment. - Conduct labor protection and safety instructions for department workers with established periodicity. - Ensure that department employees are familiar with and execute the director's orders related to their functional duties. - If necessary, at the discretion of the manager, be ready to perform work outside working hours, in emergency situations, and in cases of production necessity.
