Head of Logistics Department

HR outsourcing company "One Point" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Head of Logistics Department for a partner company.

Work location: Tbilisi

Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 16:00-01:00

Main responsibilities:

** Managing subordinate structural units, delegating/controlling work and ensuring their effective functioning

** Training and supervising subordinate personnel, monitoring and evaluating their work

** Developing recommendations and plans to increase departmental efficiency and optimize work processes

** Developing/implementing procedures and standards for logistics and operational directions in the company

** Ensuring continuous and smooth operation of logistics and operational processes, ensuring constant development and optimization

** Planning, coordinating and managing the entire logistics cycle

** Organizing sea transportation correctly and constantly monitoring the process

** Creating/managing documentation related to the transportation process and monitoring production

** Monitoring transportation routes, deadlines and performance, and reporting accordingly

** Monitoring periodic inventory processes, ensuring coordinated and uninterrupted cooperation with warehouses

** Cooperating with contractors, searching and negotiating when necessary

** Periodic reporting of logistics and operational processes to management

** Discussing and responding promptly to problematic issues and incidents

** Performing key business tasks according to established performance indicators

** Monitoring industry news and trends and ensuring implementation in the company

Qualification requirements:

** At least 3 years of managerial experience in logistics and/or operations

** Knowledge of office computer programs (especially MS Excel)

** Knowledge of operational and logistics processes

** Fluency in foreign languages (English, Russian) (minimum level B2/C1)
