LLC "Skytel" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Optical Network Service Engineer.

Work location: Dmanisi/Bolnisi

Supervision: Technical Manager of Optical Groups

Remuneration: Fixed salary 1300 - 1800 GEL (within the competence framework) + bonus

Work schedule: Monday-Friday; 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (1-hour break)

Functions and responsibilities:

** Installation and reconnection/reconnection of optical cables in communication nodes;

** Bringing the optical signal to the destination point;

** Installation of passive devices and connectors;

** Taking and archiving reflectograms of optical connections;

** Identifying and restoring damaged optical cables;

** Construction of the main network and installation of optical cables;

** Installation of equipment in communication cabinets and checking optical signals;

** Daily reporting to the immediate supervisor;

** Information exchange with contractor companies as needed.

Qualification requirements:

** Higher education in IT preferred;

** Experience working in a similar position, including in the telecommunications field;

** In-depth knowledge of computer network, internet, and cable system arrangement principles;

** Proficiency in Georgian;

** Communication level of Russian;

** Knowledge of English terminology related to the job.
