Tutor

"Modern Education Academy" announces a vacancy for a Tutor position.

Working hours: 09:00-18:00.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a remedial program considering the needs of the class;
• Organize the class before lessons start;
• Record student absences and tardiness and inform parents in a timely manner;
• Identify the reasons for absences and tardiness;
• Control the class during breaks;
• Attend lessons and monitor student behavior and academic performance;
• Frequent communication with parents about student behavior and academic results;
• Inform parents in writing every month about the student's strengths, areas for improvement, and provide relevant recommendations;
• Maintain class documentation (e.g., personal files, etc.);
• Monitor the class electronic journal (how timely teachers enter assignments, grades, notes);
• Plan and implement class, school, and extracurricular activities;
• Ensure student attendance at subject and individual consultations if needed;
• Ensure the class works on homework, monitor results, and inform parents and teachers daily;
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences twice a semester.

Qualification requirements: Higher education - Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent degree.

Desirable: Experience working in a similar position.

Competition stages:

• Selection of applications according to qualification requirements;
• Interview;
• If the interview stage is successfully completed, performing tutor duties for one day at the Modern Education Academy for observation purposes.
