HR outsourcing company One Point is announcing a vacancy for the position of Head of Logistics Department for a partner company.

Reporting: To the Executive Director

Job Description:

** We are looking for an organized, responsible, and results-oriented professional to lead the company's logistics and operational directions, ensure the effective and continuous functioning of processes, and take care of their constant development and optimization.

** The main mission of the position is to effectively manage logistics and operational processes, ensure the planning and coordination of the entire logistics cycle, manage and develop the team, implement procedures and standards, and improve business operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

** Manage subordinate structural units, delegate/control work, and ensure their effective functioning

** Train and supervise subordinate personnel, monitor and evaluate their work

** Develop recommendations and plans to increase department efficiency and optimize work processes

** Develop/implement procedures and standards for logistics and operational directions in the company

** Ensure the continuous and smooth operation of logistics and operational processes, constant development, and optimization

** Plan, coordinate, and manage the entire logistics cycle

** Organize sea transportation correctly and constantly monitor the process

** Create/manage documentation related to the transportation process and monitor production

** Monitor transportation routes, deadlines, and performance, and provide relevant reporting

** Monitor periodic inventory processes, ensure coordinated and uninterrupted cooperation with warehouses

** Cooperate with contractors, find and negotiate when necessary

** Periodic reporting of logistics and operational processes to management

** Discuss and respond promptly to problematic issues and incidents

** Perform key business tasks according to established performance indicators

** Monitor industry news, trends, and ensure implementation in the company

Qualification requirements and necessary skills:

** At least 3 years of managerial experience in logistics and/or operations

** Knowledge of office computer programs (especially MS Excel)

** Knowledge of operational and logistics processes

** Fluency in foreign languages (English, Russian) (minimum level B2/C1)

** Ability to work in a team and manage a team

** Ability to manage and train subordinates

** Strategic planning skills

** Analytical thinking skills

** Prioritization, time management

** Attention to detail

** Organizational skills
