Occupational Safety Specialist

A construction company is announcing a vacancy for the position of Occupational Safety Specialist. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented professional to ensure control and compliance with labor safety standards and regulations in construction works.

Work location: Batumi Employment type: Full-time

Key responsibilities:

• Daily control of labor safety requirements and norms in the workplace;
• Identification of existing and potential hazards in the work environment and risk assessment;
• Planning and controlling the implementation of preventive measures related to labor safety;
• Conducting labor safety instructions for employees;
• Monitoring the work process and responding appropriately to violations of safety rules;
• Production and updating of documentation related to labor safety;
• Recording accidents and incidents, participating in investigations, and developing preventive measures;
• Preparing recommendations for management when necessary;
• Ensuring compliance with labor safety requirements under Georgian legislation.

Qualification requirements

Mandatory requirement:

• Possession of a valid Occupational Safety Specialist certificate.

Also desirable:

• Practical experience working in a relevant position;
• Knowledge of Georgian labor safety legislation and regulations;
• Experience in risk assessment and production of relevant documentation;
• Knowledge of office programs;
• High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and organization;
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with employees.
