Journalist

The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia is announcing a vacancy for a Journalist position.

Job Responsibilities: - Preparing interesting, educational, and motivational video stories for the Ministry's official YouTube channel and digital platforms; - Preparing and planning story scenarios, documentary video essays, and interviews; - Getting familiar with the activities of farmers and entrepreneurs in the regions, visiting the sites, interviewing respondents, and structuring the story; - Close collaboration with the videographer and editor: directing the filming process, recording voice-overs, and participating in the assembly of the final video product; - Preparing press releases, information articles, and accompanying texts/descriptions for YouTube videos; - Finding relevant topics for the public.

Qualification Requirements and Skills: - Higher education in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Production, or a related field; - At least 4-5 years of experience in working on video stories and digital content (a portfolio is mandatory); - Storytelling and effective communication skills; - Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Georgian; - High sense of responsibility; - Communicativeness; - Analytical thinking skills; - Ability to make quick decisions; - Attention to detail; - Organizational skills; - Teamwork skills; - Time management skills;
