Main functions and responsibilities
In risk and underwriting management: - Development, development and effective management of the company's risk system and strategy; - Development, implementation and constant optimization of underwriting and risk assessment policy, methodology and risk limit determination strategy; - Systematic analysis and monitoring of the company's portfolio risks, including assessment of portfolio quality, Loss Ratio, default and other key risk indicators; - Identification of existing trends in the risk direction, forecasting of possible risks and planning and implementation of preventive measures; - Final assessment and decision-making on high-risk, high-value and non-standard applications; - Leadership, development and motivation of the underwriters team; ensuring the quality control and performance evaluation system; - Ensuring uniform standards and high quality in underwriting processes and forming a high-performance culture; - Close cooperation with sales and finance teams to improve the effectiveness of risk management and underwriting processes; - Initiation and development of underwriting process automation and digital tool implementation; - Making data-driven decisions and continuous improvement of risk management processes; - Preparation of regular reports on risks, portfolio quality and underwriting results for management.
In problem asset management: - Developing, implementing, and updating strategies for managing overdue assets (Collection & Recovery); - Determining and controlling the fulfillment of the department's monthly, quarterly, and annual plans (KPI); - Monthly management and systematic distribution/rewriting of the portfolio; - Constant analysis of the problematic portfolio, identification of trends, and taking appropriate measures to prevent risks; - Initiating automation and optimization of debt collection processes - Selection, adaptation, training, and professional development of subordinate employees; - Distribution of functions and duties among team members and monitoring the quality of their work; - Participation in the creation of motivational systems (bonus schemes) and increasing team engagement; - Preparation of detailed reports for management on portfolio quality, recovery dynamics, and department effectiveness; - Fulfillment of current projects and tasks defined by the direct supervisor.
Requirements: - At least 5 years of experience in underwriting, risk management, credit risk, or a related field, and problem asset management. - In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles, risk assessment methodologies, and portfolio management; - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; - Experience in analyzing large amounts of data, financial modeling, and quantitative risk assessment; - Ability to make quick, informed, and responsible decisions in complex and uncertain situations; - Strong leadership and team management skills; - Effective communication and negotiation skills - both with internal teams and external stakeholders, including partners, brokers, and audit representatives; - Experience in process optimization, automation, and implementation of digital tools; - High responsibility, result-oriented, and strategic vision.
