Category Manager

The company combines professional and retail sales, category managers, marketing, and a multi-profile commercial team.

The New Vision medical group is announcing a vacancy for a Category Manager position.

Work location: Tbilisi Work schedule: 5 working days a week, 09:00 - 18:00

Key responsibilities:

Increase the sales indicators of the brands in the portfolio on a yearly basis, through specific activities and growth in the number of brand customers; Plan, manage, and analyze marketing activities around the product assortment of brands with the marketing team to stimulate sales growth; Develop, implement, and control short-term and long-term strategic plans for brand development; Plan and conduct continuous training; Determine and control product inventory levels; Develop and control product pricing strategy; Conduct market research/analysis and assess competitors; Ensure product assortment is enriched; Analyze existing assortment, identify hard-to-sell products, and stimulate sales; Analyze the profitability of brands in the category with the financial manager; Ensure the continuous availability of products in the portfolio in the network; Control balances; Prepare orders; Conduct meetings with the sales team; Make double visits to clinics; Conduct roundtable discussions in clinics; Organize medical conferences; Determine the budget with the sales and medical representatives team, develop plans, and assess the profitability and targeting of incurred or planned expenses.

Develop and prepare print materials with relevant departments; Control returned and expired products by category; Generate weekly and monthly reports.

Requirements:

Higher education (preferably in medicine, business administration, finance, or marketing); At least 2 years of experience as a product manager, category or brand manager, or similar position (must be in the medical field); High-level knowledge of MS Excel; High-level knowledge of English. Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage.
