Urban Planner

"Biji Architecture" is announcing a vacancy for an Urban Planner position.

Main responsibilities:

** Developing urban planning and spatial development concepts;

** Preparing documentation for a construction regulation plan (CRP) and a detailed construction plan (DCP);

** Studying and considering current legislation, technical regulations, and urban planning requirements in projects;

** Interacting with local self-government, relevant state agencies, and other interested parties;

** Researching and analyzing physical, urban, construction, and environmental characteristics of the project territory;

** Preparing land use, functional zoning, construction, and spatial development schemes;

** Developing basic schemes for traffic movement, pedestrian connections, and mobility;

** Analyzing and modeling environmental and geographical factors, including solar insolation, relief, and climatic conditions;

** Integrating sustainable development principles into project solutions;

** Planning, coordinating, and managing the execution process of projects;

** Finding, selecting, and communicating with consultants and subcontractors of relevant qualifications;

** Preparing information for parties involved in the project and coordinating the workflow;

** Preparing project presentations, graphic materials, and explanatory documentation.

Qualification requirements:

** Higher education in urban planning, architecture, spatial planning, or a related field;

** At least 5 years of experience in urban planning, architecture, project management, or a similar field;

** Experience in preparing and agreeing on CRP, DCP, or other urban planning documentation;

** Good knowledge of Georgian urban planning and construction legislation;

** Experience working with local self-government and relevant state agencies;

** Ability to prepare project and technical documentation;

** Knowledge of AutoCAD;

** Experience working with GIS programs;

** Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D modeling programs.

Advantages:

** Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop;

** Experience in planning large-scale residential, commercial, or multifunctional projects;

** Presence of projects agreed upon by local self-government under the candidate's leadership;

** Experience in coordinating a project team or consultants of different professions;

** Experience in transportation and mobility planning.

Working conditions:

** Workplace: Tbilisi, area adjacent to Lake Lisi;

** Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 19:00;

** Probation period: 3 months, fully paid;

** Salary: up to 3500 GEL NET, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
