Guard

The National Scientific Library of TSU announces a vacancy for the position of a Guard.

Location: Tbilisi, M. Aleksidze 2nd lane N3 Work schedule: Shifts Salary: 800 GEL accrued (income tax and pension contribution will be deducted)

Main functions and responsibilities - To be guided by the present job instruction, the regulation of the Security and Safety Service of TSU and the monthly schedule of shifts approved by the Director of the National Scientific Library; - Constant control of the building to be protected and its adjacent territory; - Control of the operation of electric protection and fire alarm systems; - Knowledge of the layout of offices and halls in the building and their features; - Protection of the property of the attached building from damage, robbery, fire and other types of accidents; - To walk around the building and its adjacent territory in accordance with the established rules; - To observe the internal regulations and ethics norms of TSU while performing job duties; - Correct and ethical communication with library employees, users and visitors; - Communication with the Public Relations Service and administration during library events to ensure safety; - Prevention of any violations in accordance with the internal regulations of TSU and library standards; - Prevention of bringing alcoholic beverages, smoking tobacco and gambling in the library; - Control of unauthorized bringing and taking out of any items or inventory in the building, except for personal belongings; - Taking appropriate measures to detain persons who have entered the protected object without permission, together with other employees of the Security and Safety Service; - Providing emergency first aid to citizens if necessary or informing the library management and relevant state services; - Immediate notification of the TSU Operational Management Center, library administration and relevant state services in case of criminal facts, conflict situations and other complications; - Performance of other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor within the competence.
