Restaurant Manager

Our restaurant "Gorda" is looking for an experienced, result-oriented manager who can fully manage the daily operations of the restaurant business, distinguished by organizational skills, ability to work with people, and focus on service quality and results.

The restaurant Gorda is located in Mtiuleti, in the village of Sondashi, on the edge of the central road - 65 km from Tbilisi, in the direction of Gudauri - and represents a Georgian traditional restaurant.

The restaurant's territory operates: A wine shop / cellar - sells Georgian wines, brandy, chacha and other alcoholic beverages; Coffee Shop - branded coffee "drive" format cafe; Gorda Distillery - a distillery that produces alcoholic beverages made from local fruits.

Function / responsibilities:

Daily operational management and coordination of the restaurant, cellar and "drive" format cafe. Management of service personnel: scheduling, control of labor discipline and working time. Determining the work plan for the next day and mobilizing the team for high-load hours. Quality control of products in all areas - coffee, fast food, taste and visual standards of dishes. Managing relationships with tourist companies and guides: receiving reservations, coordinating visits and finding new partners. Administration of the guides' loyalty system - cashback and monthly promotions, control of tastings and discounts. Inventory management: description / inventory at established periodicity, identification of shortages and placement of orders with suppliers. Preparation and forwarding of invoices, coordination with accounting; ordering and optimizing the cost of laundry and hygiene products. Control of cleanliness and order in the hall, terrace, courtyard, toilets and warehouse; supervision of HACCP standards compliance. Expansion of the trade assortment in the cellar and cafe - local products, souvenirs and new directions. Online reputation management: monitoring ratings, responding to comments and increasing ratings; implementation of innovative ideas to improve service and sales.

Requirements:

Work experience as a restaurant or hotel manager / administrator. Ability to manage and motivate a team. Knowledge of inventory and inventory management. Good knowledge of Excel and office programs. Organizational skills, responsibility and attention to detail. Communication skills, ability to quickly solve problems. Experience working in the tourism sector will be considered an advantage. Knowledge of English and / or Russian will be considered an advantage.
