JSC "Viani" "M. Yashvili Batumi Maternity and Children's Central Hospital" announces a vacancy for the position of Clinical Manager.

Main functions and responsibilities

** Organize and oversee clinical activities in the hospital, implement and ensure adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines, protocols, and standards.

** Ensure the safety, efficiency, and compliance of hospital clinical services with professional and quality standards, in coordination with the Hospital Director and Clinical Department Heads.

** Coordinate the activities of clinical departments and medical staff, and systematically assess the effectiveness of clinical processes.

** Participate in monitoring clinical quality and patient safety indicators, analyze results, and initiate clinical improvement measures.

** Organize clinical audits, case reviews, mortality and complication analysis processes, and monitor the implementation of corresponding improvement measures.

** Participate in discussions of adverse clinical events, complications, and high-risk cases, identify root causes, and plan corrective actions.

** Coordinate the process of granting/reviewing doctors' qualifications, competencies, and clinical privileges in accordance with established procedures.

** Monitor the quality, completeness, and compliance of medical documentation with clinical requirements.

** Ensure the smooth and continuous operation of clinical processes - patient admission, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, hospitalization, transfer, and discharge.

** Identify the professional development needs of medical staff, plan and coordinate clinical education and training.

** Coordinate the activities of subordinate clinical structural units, distribute responsibilities effectively, and collaborate systematically with department heads.

** Participate in assessing the needs of clinical personnel, workload, and resources necessary to ensure continuous medical service.

** Collaborate with the Hospital Quality Director in clinical quality, patient safety, risk management, accreditation, and improvement processes.

** Participate in clinical committees and working groups, and coordinate their activities within the scope of competence.

** Monitor legislative, regulatory, and professional requirements related to medical activities, and ensure their implementation in clinical practice.

** Monitor established clinical and operational performance indicators, and implement measures aimed at achieving corresponding target indicators.

** Protect and ensure compliance with hospital internal policies, procedures, clinical standards, and other mandatory requirements within the scope of competence.

Qualification Requirements:

A Master's degree in Medicine or Public Health is required; a state certificate in a medical specialty is desirable; A certificate of completion of an accredited Clinical Manager course; At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position at a medical institution; At least 3 years of experience in a managerial/leadership position at a medical institution;

Necessary Knowledge:

Knowledge of the legislation and regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector of Georgia; knowledge of international quality and accreditation standards is an advantage. Principles of clinical governance and patient safety; Clinical guidelines, protocols, and principles of evidence-based medicine; Basic methods of clinical audit, case review, and assessment of clinical outcomes; Requirements for medical documentation; Knowledge of English at the level of professional literature and documentation; MS Office programs.
