Business Analyst

Andersen is hiring a Business Analyst for a project developing an end-to-end digital lending process and delivering a seamless, reliable customer experience. The customer is a well-established financial institution offering a broad range of banking and financial services to individuals and businesses. Its portfolio includes accounts, loans, payment solutions, savings, investments, insurance, and other financial products. The company combines an extensive service network with modern digital banking solutions and maintains a strong position in its domestic market, focusing on customer service, digitalization, and sustainable growth. The project is focused on designing and implementing an end-to-end cash loan process, covering the customer-facing application, backend APIs, workflow components, and integration with the core banking system. It aims to provide a seamless, reliable, and efficient digital lending experience.

Responsibilities: - Analyzing the current lending process and designing the target end-to-end process. - Gathering requirements from product, lending, operations, risk, compliance, and IT stakeholders. - Defining customer and internal user journeys. - Documenting business rules, validations, approval and rejection scenarios, and exception paths. - Defining requirements for communication between frontend applications, backend APIs, workflow services, and core banking systems. - Supporting application and product parameterization. - Preparing user stories, process models, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. - Performing end-to-end defect analysis across frontend, backend, integration, and core-system components. - Preparing test scenarios and supporting system integration testing and UAT. - Identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation. - Working as part of an existing or newly established Lending POD.

Requirements: - Experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services for 4+ years. - Practical experience with lending products, such as consumer loans, cash loans, personal loans, or mortgages. - Experience participating in the development or significant enhancement of a banking product. - Understanding of the end-to-end lending lifecycle. - Experience with customer-facing digital applications and backend API integrations. - Understanding of how banking applications interact with core banking systems. - Experience with requirements analysis, process modelling, testing, and defect investigation. - Ability to prepare clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. - Understanding of REST APIs and system integrations. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to have: - Experience with application or product parameterization. - Experience with Camunda or another BPM/workflow platform. - Familiarity with BPMN. - Experience modernizing or decoupling processes from legacy banking systems.

Compensation: 2250–3600 EUR per month.
