Student Career Support Service Specialist

The University LLC "BAU International University, Batumi" announces a vacancy for the position of Student Service and Career Support Service Specialist.

The job description within the vacancy provides for the following points:

• Reflection of information about the student in the electronic management system of the educational university;
• Providing consultations to foreign and Georgian applicants on the procedures necessary for enrollment in the educational university;
• Providing information and consultations to students on the recognition of education received abroad, obtaining a residence permit, passing academic and financial registration, student status, mobility, regulatory acts in force at the educational university and other similar issues;
• Providing information to students about relevant events and announced vacancies by sending electronic mail and mobile messages, posting announcements in a visible place at the university, organizing meetings and using other similar means;
• Discussion of individual students' and student self-government initiatives and lobbying with relevant structural units of the educational university;
• Organization of trainings, seminars and other similar events on skills and habits necessary for career success;
• Periodic survey of students and graduates, collection, analysis of statistical data on their employment and formation of a strategic plan;
• Searching for potential employers, signing memoranda of cooperation with them and creating employment/practice perspectives for students;
• Issuance of references on student status and other similar issues within the competence;
• Within the competence, execution of instructions and tasks of the head of the service;
• Implementation of other functions that, based on the purpose of the service's activity, fall within the competence of the Student Service and Career Support Service

The main qualification requirements are:

• Higher education;
• Work experience: experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage;
• Knowledge of English: at least B2 level;
• Knowledge of computer programs: Microsoft Office.
