Publishing Specialist/Consultant

1. A competition is announced for the position of a Publishing Specialist (Consultant) at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, which is a non-staff position.

2. The salary for the specialist position determined by the first paragraph of the order is 1130 (one thousand one hundred and thirty) GEL per month (including income tax and pension contributions). Working hours are from 09:00 to 18:00 every day, except weekends.

3. The applicant must meet the following qualification requirements:

a) Master's academic degree;

b) English language proficiency at B1 level.

4. The applicant is required to have the following personal qualities:

a) Ability to think creatively and innovatively;

b) Attention to detail and orientation;

c) Operativeness;

d) Ability to work independently and effectively on different tasks simultaneously;

e) Teamwork and effective communication skills;

f) Ability to justify;

g) Ability to work in force majeure circumstances;

h) Punctuality and effective time management skills;

i) Ability to adequately perceive changes and quickly adapt to new things.

5. The person employed at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University as a Publishing Specialist (Consultant) in a non-staff position is required to perform the following functions:

a) Provide consulting services for the fast and effective realization of printed products;

b) Conduct market research;

c) Ensure finding sales locations for products;

d) Organize online sales;

e) Perform various tasks assigned by the Publishing Director;

6. Applicants wishing to participate in the competition are required to submit the following documents:

a) An application addressed to the competition commission;

b) A CV in Georgian (PDF version) electronically;

c) A copy of the ID card or passport photo page;

d) Copies of documents confirming higher education;

e) In case of winning the competition, the applicant must submit a certificate from the Personnel Management Department "on conviction for crimes against sexual freedom and inviolability".

7. The selection of the applicant wishing to participate in the competition will be carried out by the competition commission based on the review of the application package. If the qualification requirements are not fully met, the applicant's documents will not be considered by the competition commission. An applicant whose documents meet the competition requirements will undergo an interview with the selection commission (the specific date and time will be notified in advance). The results of the interview will be notified to the applicant personally.
