"Tbilisi Dry Port" is a warehousing and logistics center. The company's planned activities include the transportation of cargo arriving at the ports of Poti and Batumi by rail and road transport to the Tbilisi Dry Cargo Terminal, where various transport operations can be carried out in one place, including: receiving, unloading, temporary storage and stacking of cargo by rail and road transport, loading and realization of the same cargo. The port offers its customers a range of services: Class A and B warehouses, an open area warehouse terminal, a container terminal for various operations, and a customs zone for all necessary customs formalities.

Tbilisi Dry Port is located in the capital of Georgia, approximately 380 km from the sea ports and neighboring countries.

In connection with the opening of "Tbilisi Dry Port", the company announces a vacancy for the position of Warehouse Employee.

Main responsibilities:

** Unloading or loading cargo from trucks, containers or/and wagons, using appropriate equipment.

** Moving cargo to designated areas.

** Preparing and packaging cargo for dispatch.

** Physical counting of cargo during receipt, storage and dispatch.

** Documentary and physical verification of cargo, providing information about discrepancies or/and damage.

** Updating inventory records according to the supervisor's instructions.

** Inspecting cargo during receipt and dispatch, according to internal standards.

** Checking the integrity and accuracy of packaging, marking and sealing.

** Informing the supervisor about damaged or non-compliant cargo.

** Maintaining cleanliness and order in the warehouse area.

** Storing cargo in a way that optimizes space usage and complies with safety regulations.

** Timely informing the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Operations Supervisor about suspected hazards.

** Complying with labor and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

** Complying with customs and dry port administrative requirements during cargo handling.

** Participating in the preparation of transport references and other transport documents.

** Ensuring accurate marking of cargo and storage locations.

** Participating in the preparation of documentation to update records and maintain readiness for audit.

Safety standards compliance:

** Participates in workplace risk assessment processes.

** Follows safety rules and uses personal protective equipment (PPE).

** Regularly checks equipment and work environment.

** Responds quickly to incidents or security breaches and informs the relevant department.

** Promotes the development of a labor safety culture at the workplace.

Qualifications and skills:

** Secondary education.

** At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.

** Ability to communicate and collaborate with different levels of organization.

** Strong team management skills.

** Communication and problem-solving skills.
