Occupational Health and Safety Specialist - Paid Internship

JSC "Iberia Refreshments", the official bottler of "PepsiCo" in Georgia, is announcing a paid internship for the position of Occupational Health and Safety Specialist.

Work location: Tbilisi, Orkhevi

Working hours: Part-time (2 days / week)

About the company:

JSC "Iberia Refreshments" is the official bottler of "PepsiCo" in Georgia and has the exclusive right to produce and distribute soft drinks (Pepsi, 7UP, Mirinda, Aquafina).

The company also produces energy drinks "Max Power" and Georgian lemonades (Iberia) and provides their distribution across Georgia.

JSC "Iberia Refreshments" has been operating since 2001 and is currently a member of the international investment group "Revery Group". The company employs about 400 employees across the country.

Main responsibilities:

• Participation in monitoring the implementation of safety standards and legislative requirements in the workplace.
• Participation in periodic inspections of workplaces and recording of identified non-compliances;
• Control of safe work procedures (SOP, SWI, etc.);
• Monitoring the correct use of personal protective equipment;
• Identification of hazardous actions and response.
• Participation in the process of identifying hazards and assessing risks.
• Preparation and conduct of safety briefings and Toolbox Talks;
• Participation in the process of recording, notification, and investigation of incidents, Near Misses, and hazardous incidents;
• Production and update of occupational health and safety-related documentation.

Qualification requirements / personal skills:

• Having a valid occupational health and safety certificate or diploma;
• Knowledge of Georgian occupational health and safety legislation and technical regulations;
• Knowledge of office programs (Word, Excel, PPT);
• Sense of responsibility, organization, and activity.
