We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Controller to join our team.
Position Summary: The Cost Controller is responsible for managing, monitoring, and controlling all food, beverage, and inventory costs across the hotel while ensuring quality standards and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities: - Cost Control & Inventory: Oversee F&B and storeroom inventory, conduct physical stock counts, and maintain ideal par stock levels. - Purchasing & Receiving Audit: Review purchase requisitions, invoices, and receiving procedures to verify price, quality, and contract specifications. - Menu & Banquet Costing: Partner with the F&B Director and Executive Chef on menu engineering, standard recipe costing, and banquet price benchmarking against market competitors. - Reporting & Analysis: Analyze monthly closing reports, track F&B cost variances, and provide actionable insights to management. - Vendor & Department Alignment: Coordinate with Purchasing, F&B, and Finance to minimize waste, optimize procedures, and resolve discrepancies.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cost Controller (preferably in the hospitality sector). - Strong analytical skills, data accuracy, and proficiency in financial reporting. - Good verbal and written communication skills in English. - Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with department heads.
