"Buckswood School - Tbilisi" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Class Coordinator/Tutor at the Gelovani/ Zukniti campus.

"Buckswood International School" was established in 2000 as the United Nations Association International School in Tbilisi. In 2007, the school moved to Upper Zukniti, where it received the name "Buckswood School" in 2009. Thus, the first educational space in Georgia was created, based on the traditional British educational model, which already has 26 years of experience in the field of education.

As of 2023, a new campus of "Buckswood School" is operating in Gelovani.

Class: I-IV Working hours: 09:30 to 17:00 (Monday-Friday)

Remuneration: The remuneration system at "Buckswood" is individual and determined by agreement with the candidate in accordance with competitive criteria.

Rules and stages of the competition: The first stage involves the selection of presented documentation according to qualification requirements; The second stage will include an interview with the head of the department; The third stage involves an interview with the school's academic director and the manager of personnel management and development.

*During the competition, the school will proactively contact only the candidates who have moved to the next stage.

After the competition, any applicant has the right to request information about the results in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of Georgia.

Qualification requirements: Education: Higher education in the field of primary education, educational sciences, child psychology, or humanities will be considered an advantage. Work experience: At least 3 years of experience in the educational field, at the primary level (pedagogical, educational, or administrative direction); Experience as a class leader, tutor, or coordinator of educational/classroom projects; Experience working in an international school will be considered an advantage.

Required competencies: High-level proficiency in Georgian and English; Knowledge of the psychology of primary school-age children, behavioral characteristics, and stages of socio-emotional development; Ability to monitor daily operational processes of relevant classes, student attendance, discipline, and adaptation to the school environment; Competence in planning and organizing appropriate in-school, extracurricular, and creative activities for younger age groups; Promotion of the formation of a positive, caring, and respectful class culture among students; Close, systematic, and partnership communication with parents, their proactive information about the child's school life and daily challenges.

Personal qualities and skills: Empathy, warm, kind, and direct approach to younger students; High patience, tact, and ability to calmly manage conflicts or emotional backgrounds among children; Organization, punctuality, and ability to effectively manage several current tasks simultaneously; High sense of responsibility, positive energy, and constant readiness to create a safe environment for children; Strict adherence to ethical norms and confidentiality of students'/parents' personal data; Teamwork and close cooperation with primary school teachers and the head of primary education.
