"Medical World" has been operating on the market since 2003 and has since actively been importing medical equipment across Georgia. "Medical World" also owns one of the largest laboratory networks in Georgia known as "Medical World Laboratory".

"Medical World Spa & Wellness" is another direction of the company, which focuses on importing high-quality spa and wellness equipment. As of July this year, "Medical World" holding company has joined the emergency medical center Med 11, which is a branch of the German emergency center in Georgia.

"Medical World Laboratory" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Laboratory General Manager.

Location: Tbilisi, Luwarsab Andronikashvili N3

Working hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 10:00-18:00

Salary: From 2500 GEL, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Overall management of the company's activities and determination of strategic directions;
• Ensuring effective functioning of the central laboratory and 14 regional branches across Georgia;
• Management, development and performance control of employees and the managerial team;
• Overall supervision of procurement, inventory, logistics and infrastructure;
• Management of effective relationships with partners, key clients and other stakeholders;
• Ensuring sustainable development of the organization, process optimization and revenue growth.
• Effective planning of human resources and coordination of ensuring the necessary personnel in the regions;
• Ensuring effective distribution of financial and material resources and optimization of expenses;
• Ensuring effective communication and cooperation between the central office and regional branches;
• Control of service quality, patient satisfaction and compliance with company standards;
• Ensuring quality management, internal regulations and compliance with current requirements;
• Preparation of regular reports, analysis and development recommendations for the company's management;
• Ensuring the implementation of the company's short-term and long-term business goals;
• Management, coordination and control of regional branches' activities;
• Development of a strategy for expanding the regional network, introducing new services and development;
• Quick identification of challenges in the regions and making relevant decisions;
• Management, evaluation and development of branch leaders;

Basic requirements:

** Higher education in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Management or a related field;

** At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position, preferably in a multi-branch organization;

** Experience in managing regional branches/networks will be considered a significant advantage;

** Experience working in the healthcare, medical services or laboratory field will be considered an advantage;

** Experience in business development, sales, revenue and expense management;

** Ability to frequently travel to regions and monitor branches;

** Good knowledge of office programs, especially Excel;

** Fluent knowledge of the Georgian language; knowledge of English and/or Russian will be considered an advantage;

** B category driver's license and active driving experience will be considered an advantage.
