Geologist

The company is announcing a vacancy for the position of Geologist (Inspector for evaluating the compliance of engineering-geological survey/conclusion documents).

Job type: Full-time;

Work location: Tbilisi, Al. Kazbegi st. N24g;

Remuneration: To be agreed.

Main tasks:

• Check of engineering-geological survey/conclusion documents according to regulatory documents;
• Review of the explanatory card and comparison of the data reflected in it with the engineering-geological survey report.

• Determination of compliance of decisions made in the engineering-geological survey report with the requirements defined in the technical task;

• Checking the completeness of the engineering-geological survey report;

• Verification of the materials provided in the annexes in relation to the research part;

• Comparison of data from stock and reference materials, if possible;

• Verification of the results obtained according to construction norms and rules;

• Checking the validity of conclusions and recommendations, their compliance with the data presented in the annex, the research part, and the requirements of construction norms and rules;

• Checking the correlation between the research part and the conclusion part;

• Recording each remark in the inspection process and reflecting the identified deficiencies with appropriate assessment and argument in the research part of the inspection report;

• Preparation of the inspection report, indicating a positive or negative result.

Qualification requirements:

• Master's or equivalent academic degree in construction-related specialties;

• At least 10 years of work experience in the relevant field;

• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory acts;

• Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
