Pre-School Education Center Teacher

"Buckswood School - Tbilisi" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Pre-School Education Center Teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year at the Gelovani/ Zqnieti campus.

Buckswood International School was established in 2000 as the United Nations Association International School in Tbilisi. In 2007, the school moved to Upper Zqnieti, where it received the name of Buckswood School in 2009. Thus, the first educational space in Georgia was created, based on the traditional British educational model, which already has 26 years of experience in the field of education.

Since 2023, the new Buckswood School campus has been operating in Gelovani.

Competition rules and stages:

• The first stage involves selection based on the presented documentation according to qualification requirements;
• The second stage will involve an interview with the head of the department;
• The third stage involves an interview with the school's academic director and HR/Development Manager.

*During the competition, the school will proactively contact only candidates who have moved to the next stage.

After the competition is completed, any applicant has the right to request information about the results in accordance with the procedure established by Georgian legislation.

Qualification requirements:

Education:

• Higher education, preferably in psychology;

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience;
• Experience working as an educator-teacher;

Required competencies:

• Knowledge of child development principles;
• Experience in subject-practical activities;
• Working individually and in groups with students;
• Knowledge of office computer programs.

Personal qualities and skills:

• Ability to study, assess, and manage the educational process;
• Ability to focus on the child;
• Ability to work on the content of educational material and adapt it to the child's age;
• Ability to determine the real capabilities of individual children;
• Ability to consider typical difficulties of children;
• Ability to apply psychological and pedagogical knowledge;
• Ability to manage one's own emotional state;
• Ability to stimulate the development of a child's weakly developed personal qualities.

Working hours: 09:30 - 17:00 (Monday-Friday)
