"Umbrella Group" is a multi-profile construction company that implements construction, renovation, and engineering projects.

The company's activities include construction, full renovation and finishing works, electrical and plumbing, heating-cooling-ventilation systems, fire safety, and other engineering fields.

As the company grows and the number of projects increases, we are looking for an experienced and responsible Cost Estimator to join our team.

What will the Cost Estimator do at "Umbrella Group"?

The main task of the Cost Estimator will be to study the incoming project, determine the real volumes of work, and prepare a detailed cost estimate based on real market prices.

He will work on the project from receiving the initial drawings and technical task to preparing the final commercial offer.

If necessary, he will participate in the site inspection, meeting with the client/customer, and negotiations, and will be able to professionally present and justify the prepared cost estimate.

Working conditions

• Work regime: Hybrid - 3 days a week from the office, the rest of the working days remotely
• Salary: 2000 GEL per month, plus a bonus for contracted projects
• Location: Tbilisi, Didi Dighomi - Luwarsab Andronikashvili st. N1, near the Civil Court

Main responsibilities:

• Preparing cost estimates for construction projects;
• Studying project drawings and technical documentation, counting work volumes and materials;
• Determining the project's self-cost and total cost;
• Finding and analyzing prices of materials, suppliers, and subcontractors;
• Preparing commercial proposals and form N2;
• Controlling current cost estimates and updating them if necessary;
• Inspecting the site and determining the real volume of work if necessary;
• Participating in negotiations with the client/customer and professionally presenting and justifying the prepared cost estimate.

Requirements:

• Higher education in Civil Engineering or a related technical field;
• At least 2 years of work experience as a Cost Estimator or similar position;
• Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ArchiCAD;
• Ability to independently read project drawings and technical documentation;
• Good knowledge of construction works and materials;
• Ability to accurately count work volumes and materials;
• Familiarity with market prices of construction materials and works;
• Ability to professionally present and justify the prepared cost estimate;
• Business communication and negotiation skills with clients;
• Analytical thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail;
• High sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team.
