Energy Engineer

LLC "New Networks" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Energy Engineer.

Work location: Tbilisi

Work schedule: Full-time (Monday-Friday)

Days off: 2 (Saturday and Sunday)

Main function - responsibilities:

• Control of technical condition of electrical systems and electrical devices at the company's facilities;
• Inspection of electrical networks, distribution panels, cables, automatic circuit breakers, and protection systems;
• Organization of planned and preventive technical maintenance of electrical devices;
• Timely detection and elimination of malfunctions and emergency situations in electrical systems;
• Control of functionality of generators, UPS systems, stabilizers, and other backup power equipment;
• Monitoring of electricity consumption and recording/analysis of relevant data;
• Preparation of proposals for improving energy efficiency and optimizing energy costs;
• Execution/supervision of installation and repair works of electrical devices;
• Coordination of work of contractor companies and technical personnel if necessary;
• Communication with electricity suppliers and relevant technical services;
• Control of compliance with safety standards and technical regulations during electrical works;
• Production of technical documentation and reports related to electrical systems;
• Participation in the process of installation and commissioning of new electrical devices and systems;
• Execution/supervision of installation and repair works of electrical devices;
• Performance of other relevant tasks defined by the supervisor.

Main qualification requirements:

• Higher education in electrical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field;
• Work experience as an energy engineer/electrical engineer;
• Knowledge of principles of electrical systems and electrical devices operation;
• Knowledge of electrical safety rules and relevant technical standards;
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and understand technical documentation;
• Knowledge of generators, UPS systems, and backup power systems will be considered an advantage;
• Knowledge of office programs (MS Office);
