Music Therapist

The non-governmental organization "Child, Family, Society" is announcing a competition for the vacant position of a music therapist.

Main function and responsibilities:

We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and caring professional who, through music, will help children with autism spectrum and other developmental disorders develop communication, social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

Main responsibilities:

Assessment of the individual needs and resources of beneficiaries. Planning and conducting individual and group music therapy sessions. Working with a multidisciplinary team (psychologists, behavioral therapists, speech therapists). Monitoring and documenting the progress of each beneficiary. Providing consultations and recommendations to parents for using musical elements at home.

Work schedule: by agreement

Qualification requirements:

Higher education in music therapy, psychology, special education, or music (possessing music therapy courses/certificates will be considered an advantage). At least 1 year of experience working with children with autism spectrum. Knowledge of child development stages and age psychology.

Skills:

Analytical and logical problem-solving skills; Ability to work in a team; Ability to organize and plan activities; Sense of responsibility; Motivation.

Additional information:

The organization's personnel may provide additional training if necessary.
