Nexia Georgia announces a vacancy for the position of Tax Direction Manager in the Accounting and Reporting Department.

Qualification requirements:

• Higher education in a relevant field;
• At least 3 years of experience working in the tax field;
• High-level knowledge of tax legislation;
• Knowledge of English;
• Knowledge of accounting programs;
• Teamwork skills.

Main functions and responsibilities:

• Support for employees of the Accounting and Reporting Department on tax issues;
• Verification of tax declarations performed by chief accountants, ensuring accuracy, and providing recommendations;
• Periodic visits to counteragent companies, analysis of the current situation, and identification of tax risks;
• Communication with representatives of counteragent companies and, if necessary, negotiations on specific issues;
• Determination of effective mechanisms, involvement, and timely elimination of problems in companies in the portfolio;
• Involvement in the process of selecting chief accountants/accountants.
