Asset Management Coordinator

The (A)IP "Kutaisi University City" announces a competition for the vacant position of Asset Management Coordinator.

** Work location: Kutaisi, Young Generation Avenue, 5th lane (remote work is not considered).

** Schedule: Full-time.

** Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 (break: 13:00 to 14:00).

** Salary: 1500 GEL (net).

** Qualification requirements:

** Higher education in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Law;

** At least 3 years of work experience in the specialty;

** In-depth knowledge of the "Orisis" accounting program (version 7.0) and at least 2 years of practical experience working with it;

** Knowledge of office computer programs: proficient use of MS Excel, as well as knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook;

** Knowledge of English (at least B2 level).

** Responsibilities:

** Reflection of movements of fixed assets, low-value assets and inventories in the accounting program "Orisi" based on relevant primary documents and information;

** Active participation in the process of property and asset inventory;

** Visual inspection, quantitative verification and comparison of specifications with the data specified in the contract of received assets (both received as a gift and purchased);

** Control of commodity invoices on the RS.ge portal and writing off invoices when supplying / internal transportation of assets;

** Taking fixed assets, low-value assets and inventories into account based on the contract concluded with the supplier, the act of acceptance and delivery and the commodity invoice (control of the correctness of documentation and compliance with the contract);

** Performing accounting postings of assets taken into account in the "Orisi" program;

** Ensuring the preparation of two copies of the asset acceptance and delivery acts (one copy is transferred to the supplier, the second remains with the Asset Management Coordinator for further archiving, including electronically);

** Assigning internal accounting ID numbers to homogeneous assets (low-value assets and inventories) in the warehouse (in the "Orisi" program) during posting (this number is retained until the asset is written off as expenses);

** Breaking down fixed assets into individual units and reflecting them in the "Orisi" program after taking them into account;

** Assigning barcodes to purchased fixed assets and operational replacement of damaged barcodes;

** Accrual of depreciation and amortization of tangible and intangible assets in the accounting program;

** Complete filling of purchased fixed asset cards in the accounting program "Orisi" (purchase date, date of acceptance for operation, accounting and depreciation accounts, depreciation method and duration of operation);

** Monthly downloading of invoices and payment / tax invoices from the RS.ge portal;

** Programmatic arrangement, management and operation of the warehouse structure in the "Orisi" database;

** Control of the process of receiving and writing off fuel both on the relevant electronic platform and in the accounting program "Orisi";

** Performance of other lawful tasks and job functions of the immediate supervisor.
