Geologist

The company is announcing a vacancy for the position of Geologist (Inspector for evaluating the compliance of engineering-geological survey/conclusion documents).

Job type: Full-time;

Work location: Tbilisi, A. Kazbegi st. N24g;

Remuneration: To be agreed.

Main tasks:

** Check of engineering-geological survey/conclusion documents according to regulatory documents;

** Review of explanatory card and comparison of data reflected in it with engineering-geological survey report.

** Determination of compliance of decisions made in engineering-geological survey report with requirements defined in technical task;

** Check of completeness of engineering-geological survey report;

** Check of materials provided in annexes in relation to research part;

** Comparison of data from stock and reference materials, if possible;

** Verification of results obtained according to construction norms and rules;

** Checking the validity of conclusions and recommendations, their compliance with the data presented in the annex, research part, and requirements of construction norms and rules;

** Checking the correlation between research and conclusion parts;

** Recording each remark during the inspection process and reflecting the identified deficiencies with appropriate assessment and argument in the research part of the inspection report;

** Preparation of inspection report, indicating positive or negative results.

Qualification requirements:

** Master's or equivalent academic degree in construction-related specialties;

** At least 10 years of work experience in relevant field;

** In-depth knowledge of relevant legislative and normative acts;

** Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
