SOC Analyst

Company "UGT" is announcing a vacancy for the position of SOC Analyst.

Main Functions and Responsibilities:

Monitoring and analysis of security events and alerts in the SIEM system; Validation, categorization, prioritization of alerts, and identification of false positive cases; Investigation of suspicious activities and information security incidents; Assessment of the criticality of information security incidents, prioritization, and appropriate response; Correlation of various logs and data sources to determine the cause and scale of the incident; Use of Threat Intelligence and IOCs for threat identification and analysis; Analysis of SOC Dashboards and participation in the improvement process, including the definition of necessary metrics and visualizations; Identification of repetitive alerts and monitoring gaps, analysis and improvement of SIEM Detection Rule logic, and participation in the development of new Detection Rules; Monitoring of current cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and new attack methods; Preparation of periodic reports on work performed, incidents detected, and security events.

Professional Skills/Requirements:

Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux logs and network protocols; Knowledge of cyber threats, IOCs, and common attack methods;

Work Experience:

At least 2 years of work experience in the field of cybersecurity/SOC; Practical experience working with SIEM platforms; Experience in independent analysis of security alerts and incidents.
