Literacy and Critical Thinking Teacher

The Literacy and Critical Thinking Teacher works with adolescents aged 11 to 18 in two main areas:

Literature and Literacy:

• Effectively deliver the program material of "Letterato";

• Encourage students to develop thinking and reasoning processes in areas such as the main ideas, values, and concepts of a work;

• Develop skills of introspection and empathy;

• Promote understanding of the material read and application of acquired knowledge in real life.

Critical Thinking:

• Develop skills of consistent and logical thinking;

• Teach argumentation, debate, and opposition techniques while maintaining high ethical standards;

• Share in-depth knowledge of various concepts and controversial issues based on the program material;

• Form skills of objective, unbiased conclusions, respect for the opponent, and constructive discussion.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Philology, Philosophy, Psychology, or an interdisciplinary field;

• Understanding of adolescent age characteristics and stages of psychological development;

• Broad erudition, in-depth knowledge of fiction, and ability to think interdisciplinary;

• High motivation for teaching and pedagogical activities.

• High sense of responsibility;

• Punctuality;

• Empathy and ability to communicate ethically;

• Ability to consider age-specific characteristics and peculiarities;

• Ability to approach students with attention, sensitivity, and individuality.
