Main duties and responsibilities: - Assist the technologist in the processes of receiving, primary processing, enzymatic and thermal processing, and freezing of fish and seafood products; - Assist the technologist in controlling the production processes and monitor the performance of tasks in accordance with established technological processes; - Participate in visual and relevant control of the quality of incoming raw materials, auxiliary materials, and finished products; - Prepare raw materials and finished products for laboratory research and assist the technologist in taking relevant samples if necessary; - Participate in controlling the observance of food safety, hygiene, and sanitary norms in the enterprise; - Assist the technologist in preparing and maintaining technological cards, recipes, calculations, and other production documentation; - Participate in accounting and controlling the quantity of raw materials and auxiliary materials needed for the production process and inventory; - Participate in controlling the packaging, labeling, and pricing of products; - Assist the technologist in controlling the appearance, packaging, storage conditions, and shelf life of finished products; - Monitor the compliance of produced products with established technological and quality requirements; - Assist the technologist in developing new products and recipes; - Participate in trial production, tasting, and evaluation of new products; - Monitor the observance of established norms during production and provide information to the technologist about identified deviations; - Identify and report to the technologist any production defects, discrepancies, and potential risks in a timely manner; - Participate in monitoring the observance of hygiene, sanitary, and technological requirements by enterprise employees; - Keep records and documentation related to production processes as instructed by the technologist; - Assist in familiarizing enterprise employees with technological processes and food safety requirements if necessary; - Perform tasks predetermined by the technologist within the competence in their absence; - Perform other relevant tasks within own competence as instructed by management and the technologist.
Qualification Requirements: - Higher or professional education in Food Technology, Food Processing Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred; - Experience in the field of fish and seafood processing will be considered an advantage; - Experience in a similar position is desirable, but candidates with relevant education and motivation will also be considered; - Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene principles will be considered an advantage; - Ability to study and apply technological processes in practice.
