Construction Site Supervisor

"CMG" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Construction Site Supervisor.

Location: Tbilisi, construction sites

Type of employment: Full-time

Remuneration: 4000-5000 GEL, determined based on experience

Probation period: 6 months

About the position

The position involves full technical supervision of the construction process - control of compliance of works with the project, applicable norms, and standards, quality, and deadlines. Also, coordination of contractors and subcontractors, monitoring of defect identification and elimination, documentation of completed works, and management of the process of handing over the facility.

Main responsibilities:

• Control of compliance of construction works with project documentation, norms, and standards;
• Acceptance of hidden works and execution of acts;
• Identification of defects at the facility and control of their elimination;
• Receipt and control of laboratory conclusions;
• Verification and approval of volumes of completed works (form 2) submitted by contractors;
• Coordination of activities of the general contractor and subcontractors;
• Preparation of weekly/monthly reports for management;
• Simultaneous supervision of several facilities (residential + commercial);
• Distribution of priorities among facilities and risk management;
• To strictly observe and fulfill the requirements of the applicable legislation related to the employee's activities, internal instructions of the employer, the employer's corporate guide and corporate behavior norms, and other non-legislative documents of the employer and/or written or oral (including electronic) instructions of the supervisor;
• To systematically track and familiarize yourself with the employer's relevant non-legislative documents and/or changes to these documents, to be aware of the news related to his activities;
• To fulfill the tasks received from the supervisor to ensure the complete fulfillment of the above-mentioned responsibilities;
• To take care of the employer's material assets (cash, precious metals, products made of precious metals, strict accounting blanks, any real and movable property owned and/or used by the employer, etc.) and assume full material responsibility in case of causing damage/loss to the company, which includes, but is not limited to, damage, loss, or destruction of the employer's material and/or immaterial property due to negligence or intentional actions. (In the case of an employee who is a materially responsible person).

Qualification requirements:

• Higher education in construction engineering, architecture, or a relevant technical field;
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the construction sector, preferably in technical supervision;
• Ability to freely read and analyze project and working drawings;
• Experience in accepting hidden works and executing relevant acts;
• Ability to analyze laboratory conclusions and technical documentation;
• Ability to manage several facilities simultaneously, determine priorities, and assess risks;
• Knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and other technical programs will be considered an advantage;
