Accountant

"Communal Hospitality" is announcing a vacancy for an Accountant position.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Processing and reflecting hotel, restaurant and construction direction accounting data in the relevant accounting program; Processing, sorting and entering primary accounting documentation for a specified period into the database; Processing accumulated financial information for a specified period in Excel files to be loaded into the program, taking into account received instructions; Sorting, combining, grouping and comparing large data in Excel files; Comparing primary documentation with postings in the database, identifying and correcting discrepancies in the program; Reflecting purchase and sales documents, invoices, consignment notes and other primary documentation in the program; Processing bank operations and posting in the accounting database; Correctly distributing and posting income and expenses to relevant accounts; Processing debtor and creditor data and verifying balances as needed; Controlling the accuracy and completeness of information entered into the accounting database; Fully processing accumulated accounting information for a specified period within the agreed deadline; Providing information to the immediate supervisor/chief accountant on the status of work performed and identified discrepancies.

Requirements and necessary skills

Higher education in finance, accounting or economics; At least 3 years of experience working as an accountant; High-level knowledge of MS Excel; Analytical thinking; Experience working in the restaurant or hotel industry will be considered an advantage; In-depth knowledge of Georgian tax and financial legislation; Experience working with accounting programs; Attention to detail
