Developer Intern

TourInvest Group is announcing a vacancy for a Developer Intern position. Job Description: - The Developer Intern will work on the DOP (Data Operations Platform), which is an internal corporate platform of TourInvest Group. This is a paid position, full-time, and will be a stepping stone to the Junior Developer level.

Key Responsibilities: - Launching the full stack locally using Docker Compose and understanding its working principles; - Taking on small, well-defined tasks in Jira (bug fixing, interface correction, API endpoints) and completing them through the branch, pull request, and code review process; - Learning and applying the platform's internal standards (table standards, Admin Panel structure, entity naming conventions, etc.); - Writing automated tests for your own module; - Over time, delivering small functionality in a full cycle (data model, migration, API endpoint, screen) and participating in building the staging environment; - Learning and gradually getting involved in the deployment process, together with the platform leader.

Requirements: - Knowledge of Python basics: functions, classes, modules, virtual environments, package installation, reading traceback; - Knowledge of SQL basics: SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, primary and foreign keys; - Knowledge of HTTP and REST: request methods, status codes, JSON payloads; - Knowledge of Git: clone, branch, commit, push, pull request, merge conflict resolution; - Experience working with the command line in a Linux environment; - Experience with at least one Python web framework (Django, FastAPI, or Flask) at any level; - Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (knowledge of React is a plus, but not required); - English - reading level, Georgian - working level. - Additional advantages: practical experience with Docker Compose, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, knowledge of task queues (Celery, RQ), as well as any experience with CI/CD, automated testing, or Linux system administration.
