We are looking for a Steward/Kitchen Dishwasher to join our team and contribute to ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth operation of the kitchen.

The responsibilities and main job functions of the Steward/Kitchen Dishwasher include:

Consistently provide professional, friendly, and proactive service while supporting colleagues

Work with the dishwashing machine

Wash dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans using the dishwashing machine or by hand

Sort dishes

Polish cutlery

Ensure that kitchen/service and banqueting colleagues have all the necessary inventory/dishes

Safely store, sort, and maintain clean working inventory

Ensure that all broken and damaged items are removed from the workflow and recorded

Ensure that all equipment is in a clean condition and that disinfection procedures are carried out regularly

Ensure that workspaces are always clean and tidy, return unused dishes to their original place or storage

Use caution and follow proper procedures when cleaning the floor according to the training module

Clean ovens, grills, walls, exhaust hoods, floor drains, grease traps, and other kitchen equipment

Clean and sweep the entire kitchen area

Sort and dispose of trash in designated areas and clean trash cans

Clean greasy items and trays

Have complete knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning agents, including their use, proper storage and handling procedures, and correct use of tools related to the position, ensuring that the floor is always dry and clean

Comply with department rules, procedures, and service standards

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

** Experience in a similar position is desirable
