Head of Clinical and Diagnostic Laboratory

An international company is announcing a vacancy for the position of Head of Clinical and Diagnostic Laboratory.

Position Purpose

Ensuring effective, stable, and high-quality functioning of the laboratory; controlling the reliability of clinical results; optimizing processes and managing the team.

Work location: Uzbekistan (Tashkent) Work schedule: Full-time Remuneration: High in US dollars (dependent on the candidate's qualifications)

Key Requirements

• ≥5 years of experience in a clinical and diagnostic laboratory;
• Preferably in a leadership or senior specialist position;
• Experience in a private and/or multi-profile hospital;
• In-depth knowledge of modern laboratory analyzers (hematology, biochemistry);
• Practical management of calibration and QC/QA systems;
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS);
• Control of pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical stages;
• Experience participating in external quality programs (EQAS/RIQAS);
• Knowledge of laboratory accreditation and regulations;
• Managing daily laboratory operations;
• Overseeing the quality control system;
• Managing critical laboratory errors;
• Coordination with clinical departments;
• Budget planning and cost optimization;
• Personnel selection, evaluation, and development;
• Implementation of new methods and technologies;
• Proficiency in Russian is required.
